Job Description:

Saab, Inc. is seeking a motivated Associate (Entry-Level) IT Support Professional to learn and be responsible for the following:

  • Providing day-to-day technical support to employees for workplace information and communications technology systems.

  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, workstations, and limited network and system issues in a heterogeneous environment.

  • Maintaining data integrity and file system security for the workplace environment.

  • Communicating highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.

  • Recommending and specifying hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.

  • Participating in development of information technology and infrastructure projects.

  • Conducting training programs designed to educate an organization’s computer users about basic and specialized applications.

  • Travel between our Quincy, MA and Cranston, RI office frequently.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation.

  • Overnight Travel 10%

Compensation Range: $54,700-$64,300

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • 2+ years of relevant professional or Co-Op experience.

  • General knowledge and experience with configuring/ troubleshooting Windows-based computers in a business environment with Active Directory.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic Network knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, VPN)

  • Excellent Organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent customer service follow-up skills

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
